DC’s Number One Electro Party is Back!
This month’s edition of The Fringe is the first ever Quatro de Mayo Celebration! (Monday, May 4th)
We’re going to be celebrating with FREE CHAMPAGNE for the Ladies until 11 and
Vodka/Red Bull Specials until Midnight.

As always, the highly acclaimed monthly will feature a clash of Electro Beats/House/B-More/Remixes delivered courtesy of D.C.’s favorite DJs, with me (Dimitris George), DJ Tru, and hosted by M.C. Shawn Lucas.

In the past year, The Fringe has consistently been featured innumerous periodicals/websites such as: The Washington Post, The Washington Examiner, NBC Washington, Miami Nights, etc. This notieriety has

HipsterOverkill presents The Fringe WMC Miami Edition & HipsterOverkill Volume 3

In honor of HipsterOverkill’s first anniversary, a special Winter Music Conference edition of The Fringe will be held in Miami on March 26, 2 to 6 p.m.
The Fringe’s rooftop/poolside venue — with stunning views of the city, bay and beach — will be in Miami’s North Bay area at 7934 West Drive and will boast local DJ, D-Up from the Delano along with the crowd-pleasing regulars, Dimitris George, DJ Tru and host, MC Shawn Lucas. (This event is free to conference attendees and open to the public.)
The formula for the music will be the same as it is for Washington, D.C.’s “best electro party” monthly with a heavy dose of Electro, House and Baltimore House. The Fringe has been consistently chosen as an Editor’s Pick by The Washington Post’s Going Gurus. Those who have partied at The Fringe include Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation), Jesse Tittsworth, Dave Nada (Nadastrom) and Jeff Fahey (Grindhouse).
As an increasingly popular online magazine, HipsterOverkill.com provides a news platform with exclusive content, aimed at covering emerging trends in music, artists, DJs, lifestyle, culture, fashion, viral video and events. Here are my Top Ten Tracks that are our right now! Over the last few weeks I have been toying with spliting up my Top Tens since I do one for HipsterOverkill.com as well. I decided to keep them mixed with a bit of everything and not just limit myself to one genre…So without further adieu here is my Top Ten:

1.I’m not going to teach you boyfriend (Twelves Remix)-Black Kids-The original version is itunes current free download of the week and both versions are great but this is the electro version…

2.Praise to the JBs-ATFC-Progressive done right. Thats all I can say…

3.Fun Punch (Whitenoise Remix)-Bag Raiders-Hard Crunching electro track!! I’d love to hear this in a big, big, big venue!!!

4.Open Your Heart-Dirty South & Axwell-What can I say??? The two hottest producers out right now coming together to make an instant classic…

5.Say Aha (Tepr Remix)-Santogold-This track has really got a hold on me…Its a hard hitting electro remix with some dubstep thrown in for good measure…

6.Better Day (TV Rock Remix)-Dirty South & Paul Harris Feat. Rudy-There are alot of remixes to this track but this bar far the best!!!

7.Lights & Music (Boys Noize Remix)-Cut Copy-I still love this track!!!! This remix is the ONE!! FIRE!!!!!!!

8.Touch Me-Chocolate Puma & Bingo P-This is my type of electro house!!!!!!!!!

9.Work This-Rico Tubbs-Ok, Check this out…This is a Finnish guy who makes Miami/B-More music with a name from Miami Vice…

10.Jockin’ Jay-Z-Jay-Z-Somebody needs to remix this track!!!!!
