    Palin’s Gibberish

    Monday, September 29th, 2008

If anyone had any doubts on the readiness of Gov. Palin, please read this load of gibberish:

Katie Couric: Why isn’t it better, Gov. Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries; allow them to spend more and put more money into the economy instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

Gov. Sarah Palin: That’s why I say I, like every American I’m speaking with, we’re ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health-care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping the — it’s got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health-care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.

This is so reminscent of a person way in over their head…She’s still in the minors…

    Tittsworth Reviews

    Monday, September 15th, 2008

Ok I just read some reviews on Tittsworth’s Album…

The first that I read is from XLR8R

Hailing from DC but aesthetically linked to Baltimore, DJ/producer Jesse Tittsworth makes tracks that don’t always uphold the grand tradition of that neighboring city’s venerated club scene. His debut LP here is an unabashed party record that relies too heavily on humor and guest appearances to hide a dearth of inventive beatmaking. A handful of winning tracks (“911” and “Tear the Club Up 2008”) offer clattering percussion for a propulsive, high-energy sound, and “4.21” manages a fair Justice impression, but elsewhere things go downhill fast: Baltimore shout-out “B-Rockin’,” is sadly just a watered-down retooling of Daft Punk’s “Teachers.”

    http://www.xlr8r.com/reviews/tittsworth/twelve-steps

    The second is from Pitchforkmedia
Tittsworth has produced, by and large, an album of potential novelty singles. That’s fine– you can argue that some of the best records are novelty records– but the problem is that most of the tracks on 12 Steps are neither particularly novel nor memorable. The guitar-coated “Almond Joy” begs you to– wait for it– “play with my heart like a toy,” and the soppy light R&B of “Here He Comes” nicks a melody from Hall and Oates’ “Maneater”, which Timbaland referenced with Nelly Furtado two years ago. As many words as the Clipse have for snow, Baltimore club and its cousin Miami bass have for sex, so letting guest rapper Pitbull settle for such Kindergarten Cop-level laziness here as “spread legs like a gynecologist” is an insult. Not to his Miami base, not to Baltimore clubbers, but to pop fans. We’re fickle– not stupid.

    So those are two reviews…
I suggest everybody listen to it for themselves and make up their own minds…

Me & The Thuy Fashion Show in Bryant Park

    Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Yesterday I deejayed the Thuy Fashion Show in Bryant Park.  I have to say it was one of the most exciting performances I’ve been a part of.  The atmosphere was electric from the pre-show to the actual runway walk. Here is a video of the fashion show minus my music.  I’m also adding some pics as well.

    The Venom of Palin!

    Saturday, September 6th, 2008

I would first like to preface this blog with the idea that I normally don’t like to write about politics.  The whole subject matter is devisive and that is something that I didn’t want to bring to this page.

That being said, I listened to Sarah Palin’s speech at the RNC on Wednesday night.  I was entirely appalled with the amount of toxicity that she spewed from her mouth.  It was astonishing to me that this person could attack Senator Obama with such verbal insults that are normally reserved for WWE’s Monday Night Raw.  (Although in fairness, the RNC crowd shares the same demographic as wrestling fans and Nascar Fanatics)  I looked over the sea of hillbillies and realized this was honky tonk politics at work.  I guess it was my fault that I didn’t wear my overalls to watch the speech, that was my fashion faux paux…

What particularly infuriates me about the speech was her remarks that Washington had been invaded by Democrats and that the Republicans were going to take it back.  For the last 8 years we (the American Populace) have been living under Republican Rule and in particular Bush’s Policies or should I say Halliburton’s Policies.  The results are pretty impressive:  Two Wars (Over 4,500 American Military Deaths and countless injured), an Enron Scandal, Scooter Libby Probe, Dick Cheney’s indecretions (including shooting someone), WMD Hoax, a crappy economy, mortgage crisis, gas prices, etc. etc. etc….The list goes on and on besides those are the things we know about.

I suggest that people look at Palin before they clap to her speeches!!  For one thing the campaign has denied any access to her for an interview.  There are already probes into her misconduct and just today there is a rumor that she had an affair with her husband’s business partner!  Basically Palin is just a weather girl nothing more!!  Her credentials are pretty impressive LOL:

Graduated University of Idaho-Sportscaster-Mayor of a town of 5,000-Governor for less than 2 years and a Mommy…

Wow!  Now that I written down her resume, I think most of working America has a stronger case to be a VP than her…My hope is that everybody will do the right thing.  There is a antedote to the venom of McCain/Palin…

Support and Vote for Obama/Biden 2008!!
